Eight-color lithograph
20" x 16"
Hand-drawn and hand-pulled, traditionally printed, color lithograph. Printed during a visiting artist appointment at the University of South Dakota.
The process of Lithography requires the artist to create the drawing directly onto Bavarian Limestone or lithographic plate with a grease-based crayon or other grease-based materials. The stone or plate is then chemically processed using Nitric Acid and Gum Arabic. Finally, it is printed on a traditional (manually powered) Lithography Press using the highest quality archival papers, inks, and other materials.
Limited edition of 10
This Lithograph is Titled, Editioned, and chopped by the artist.
